Poison
In the old age days of kings, queens, and chariots ride
Conquering a
neighboring kingdom was a matter of pride
A few powerful kings had a
charismatic personality
They hardly bothered about the aftermath of the fatality
The tales of Ramayana and Mahabharata are not merely mythological
They carry
messages for the modern-day people to be logical
Two characters in each of these
tales who hated the heir to the crown
Manthara and Shakuni, for their revenge,
turned the tables upside down
They were individually sober people, incompetent
to enter into combat physically
Their malafide intentions were unknown to
anyone, they were tough mentally
When the moment stuck, they released the
venomous poison in the minds they had trained
They were patient enough to wait
for years to ensure their enemies were brutally pained
History is proof that
neither of these people was wrong in their actions
They played their role to
perfection as they were destined to spread dissatisfaction
Even in this modern
world, can you rely on everyone around you, is a mystery
The important
consideration is whether their intention to pamper you exists without any
history
Well expressed deep poem!
