Water love

"Its my time to drink water along with my love for my love" declared Raja looking at his watch.
"What??" asked Rafiq amusingly. Raja took him to the window and pointed out towards the Moon which was shining in the night sky like a King. Still Rafiq was confused, though he did not utter a word, his face gave away everything.

Raja and Rafiq were part of the gang which had gone to Matheran for a night out with friends. Everyone had climbed Matheran this eveninng by walk, enjoying, singing, pulling each others leg and now were resting when Raja made this statement. Actually, he was the most mischievous boy in the gang. Always smiling on himself, cracking jokes and doing everything that others in the gang liked him. He was the heart of the gang.

To say more about him, Raja was a happy-go-lucky teenager and enjoyed being very active. He was very good at mimics and would enact dialouges of parents of his friends and make everyone laugh at any time of the day. Not so well with studies but definitely managed to clear his examinations. As every youngster would have it, Raja had one drawback and that was he used to feel 'true-love' with girls he met.

He had this uncanny nack of creating positive rapport with any girl and also, within a few days he would announce that he has fallen in love with her. Friends would make fun of him many times for this but he was seriously involved with many of them at different times. Many friends tried to convince him to get out of this but certain habits prefer to stay back.

After being involved with few heart breaks, Raja decided to settle down with Rupali. She was his classmate during the final year of graduation and both enjoyed each others company to a great extent. This time things seemed to have settled down rather beautifully. Both got committed to an extent to become life partners later.

Those days communication was a major hinderance. Lovers used to miss each other badly as personal meeting was restricted to seeing only for a few hours in college during the entire day. The remaining part of the day would be spent just thinking about each other.

Life was not in fast lane too, so everyone had lot of time to think about each other, love each other and just be lazy. The entire events of the day would be shared to the lady love next day when they met. Nothing was different between Raja and Rupali too.

One very interesting thing to note was that every couple used to have their own ways to express their love towards each other. Some very regular types, some wierd thoughts and it was a top secret only between the two involved.

After being into relationship for over a year, Raja and Rupali expressed their love in a very unique way. Every night, just after dinner or so, they would stand in their respective windows, look at the moon and drink a glass of water. This was their way of saying hi, seeing each other through the moon and say 'Good Night' to each other.

The Moon (mama) used to be their common friend in those days of being away from each other. Communication redefined by this unique couple and they proudly called it as their Water-love!!

Water-Love via Moon!!!
