A beautiful girl with a big career aspiration
Her supportive parents were her daily inspiration
No compromise throughout her formal education
After graduation, she planned to pursue post-graduation

As said, love is blind, cannot see what’s in store
She fell for an uneducated guy, staying next door
Daily exchanging of glares left them wanting more
The teenage mind got them committed for life to explore

They met, promised to stand by each other
The parents were shocked at this uncover
Totally chocked, they could not even move over
It was a difficult pill to swallow, after the discover

The girls’ family was hurt beyond imagination
They cut off their social contacts, remained in isolation
They cursed themselves for life’s unexpected deviation
Unsure of the results of their daughter’s experimentation

Even the society disapproved the new relation
Staying together, the couple exhibited strong determination
The girl’s education was her biggest asset, and motivation
Her hard work, self-belief improved their living situation


After sometime, the parents got convinced about both 
Gave them opportunity to stay together, continue their oath
The reunion spread smiles, the couple felt free from loath
Also there was happiness in the air, as all experienced growth

The timely help of parents saved the blind love survive
All is well that ends well, the vision of girl helped them thrive
Her story of resilience, guts and glory encouraged her strive
The family culture played a pivotal role to be together being alive

Kranti Daud – The Finish Hundreds of students along with degree college teachers, junior college teachers, non-teaching staff of Vedanta College gathered near Powai Chowk at Ulhasnagar – 3 to welcome the Running warriors of Vedanta College who were on the verge of completion of the historic 165kms run from Raigad Fort to Vedanta College. The run started at 6pm from Raigad Fort, continued for the entire night and reached the College at 9am.
