 The yesteryear’s love was cute and harmless

Just watching his beloved added to the cheerfulness


The blushing when eyes met eyes was a beautiful sight

Meeting the sweetheart privately was scaling newer height

 

The modern day love birds are so different

They measure their love with gifts equivalent

 

The bigger the volume of the gift, higher the love quotient

Isn’t the journey of intangible to tangible quite prominent?

 

Everyone applauds the success of students scoring high grades

Seldom do they know the efforts put in by the young brigades

 

A possibility of student riding high by such tangible results

Did he acknowledge the sacrifice, blessings of his parents?

 

The food and nourishment provided by mother during study hours

The challenges and struggles of family, with his smile the father covers

 

The winning of tangibles is important to display power to the world

Though there are many intangibles deeds which needs to be unfurled

 

A man spends all his wealth purchasing the best mattress

Later he realizes, good quality of sleep reduces the stress

 

He unknowingly joins the bandwagon to accumulate wealth

Forgetting it’s only two times of good food which maintains health

 

Every human is in a race collecting as many tangibles

He needs to realize the more valuables are intangibles
