Can we play?

Can we play may look like an everyday affair

But in today's date, the question arises, is it fair?

With lakhs of people in and around not being aware

The dangers of virus still lingers large in the air

The answer to this question lies in how much you care

If you are responsible, positive answer should be rare

Youth may be disturbed in search of fresh air

and may give reasons stating they will play fair

They must understand that, lies in the open, is a big dare

Its not about entertainment,for the virus is a big scare

Though your immunity may be strong enough to fight this evil

You may end up spreading being a carrier of this devil

Maintaining basic hygiene, not touching things with hands bare

Washing those hands regularly shows your love and care.

Though playing out is always a better option than being indoor

Today being alert requires wearing a mask while going outdoor

No doubt we will come out of this situation very soon

Lesser loss of human life will make us feel over the moon

A large slice of patience coupled with activities never done before

Doing almost nothing brings out our real characters to the fore

I'm sure this compulsory quarantine imposed upon is a big pain

You and me are equally frustrated waiting for things to regularize again

The positive aspect though is that we are digitally advanced lot

Every information related and its impact known at every slot

Each one of us has a smart phone and social media to succumb to

Vent out our frustration, put up views, or many more things to do

With so much efforts from the Government - Central and State

We will win this war for sure, the only unanswered question is the date

Corona has put a detailed account of our environmental sin

I'm sure this time will pass too and human relations will win
